Fundraising for our chosen school charity Restless Development began this morning. Rosie and Charlotte from Year 4 made 100 scrunchies from unwanted school dresses. Rosie's mum works in the Second hand uniform shop and had several dresses with holes in that couldn't be sold. Rosie had the idea to use them to make scrunchies in the Chandlings colours. The girls then set up a stall at the school gates and the scrunchies flew off the shelves! By the time school began they were nearly sold out! A great initiative for a great cause.
