Success for the Cothill Educational Trust Riding Team!
Mrs Fiona Shires (Year 2 class teacher) would like to inform all you parents of keen riders that we are looking to put a team together for The Manor’s event on 27 June which will be held at Gainfield Farm, near Faringdon. Earlier this month, Lorna in Chandlings’ Year 4, was asked to ride for the Cothill Trust. A fourth team member was required to represent the Trust at the Inter Schools and Individual Show Jumping competition, organized by the Dragon School Riding Club.
The event was held at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre on Sunday 9 May. Lorna came fifth individually in Class 1, gaining 2 points for the team. She then went clear in the 2’ 7” class, and the Cothill Trust went on to win the cup for the whole day. Well done Lorna!
