Year 2 were lucky enough to visit the Millets Falconry centre before half term to meet some amazing birds. 

Firstly they were given a tour of the centre and met many other interesting animals along with owls, vultures, hawks and even a noisy kookaburra.

The children each had the opportunity for some bird handling, and they were then treated to a 'flying show'.

It was a super day out with the good company of well-behaved and interested children who received many compliments.
